Book: Fierce Light
Author: Linda Scheller
Fierce Light by Linda Scheller is a FutureCycle Press book of persona poetry in the voices of iconic women. Indigo Moor writes, “The accuracy and poetic quality of each work is testament to Scheller’s years of research not only on the characters’ lives, but the poetic sensibilities of the ages they lived in.” Elizabeth Rosner writes, “Fierce Light is an astonishing collection…Scheller has composed a righteously eloquent chorus of activists and artists, warriors and poets, daughters and grandmothers. We need to listen to them all, right now, perhaps more than ever.”
