Sunday Check-In

I hope everyone had a safe but fun Halloween. Mine was pretty quiet. It involved doing laundry, writing related activities, running errands and cross stitching.

So what’s new? Well I received these two great book reviews from reader’s who read my book Everest Base Camp: Close Call

“What an amazing feat! Catina took us along with her as she pursued her dream to climb Mount Everest. We were with her as she navigated through cultural transactions, We were breathless as she described the conditions she faced and just as breathless when things took a turn. Catina has an ability to captivate her readers…”- Deborah Crawford

“A trip of a life time. This author takes you on her epic journey. She witness beauty but also pain. The altitude of the mountains can be hard on some people and this author lets you experience it with her. The book also shows the beauty of her trip given you insight of the glorious views of the hike. Great read.” – Jennifer Lucas

My new book El Camino on a Wrecked Ankle will be out in a few weeks. If you read Everest Base Camp: Close Call – you just might like this one!

Check back on Monday for my first set of book reviews. I will be doing them once a month on the first of the month, unless it falls on a Sunday, then it will be on Monday as to not interfere with my Sunday Check-In’s!
