Tiny Writing Retreat

We ended up arriving in Chicago 8 hours later than expected because of a mistake on Greyhounds part. It was during an unscheduled four hour layover in Detroit I realized I had forgotten the charger for my laptop. On top of that, once I sat down to do a bit of writing, the battery was at 89% and not fully charged. I’m trying to be productive while conserving the battery for my laptop. Note to self, make sure I pack the charger for my laptop when going on a writing retreat! I have managed to polish off two poems that are now ready for submission and I have added 1,000 words to my current writing project. We head out tomorrow around supper so maybe I’ll get a bit more writing in. Obviously not as much as I originally planned but some is better than none.
